Red Sea Caravan |

Dacre Watson
has written a history of Aden Airways entitled
‘Red Sea Caravan’ which will be published in
September 2008.
Dacre is a graduate of the Air
College, Hamble. He spent his working life with
BEA and then BA, retiring in 1998. He spent a
further five years with Singapore Airlines
before retiring a second time. Over the last 25
years Dacre has been involved as an editor of
the Log – the journal of the British Airline
Pilots Association, and in writing articles on
airline histories for various journals, both in
the UK and the USA. He was elected as a Fellow
of the Royal Aeronautical Society in 1998, and,
at present he sits on their Historical
Committee. ‘Red Sea Caravan’ is Dacre’s first
book.
