Crescent Hotel
Annexe
At the rear of the Crescent Hotel was a 27 room Annexe
which was opened in 1950. It featured phone extensions in every room. The Annexe was built for and by
A. Besse
Company. Gino Almondo was the project
supervisor. At this time both the Crescent Hotel
and the Annexe were Besse's properties.
The Annexe had a hairdressing salon and
an Aden Airways
booking office to the left off the lobby. In 1955
the office moved from the Annexe into the main
entrance of the Crescent Hotel where it was run
entirely by Ann Berryman.

Crescent Annexe. The car
passing by belongs to the Governor. It's
